Chris Boston, CCIM, MBA
President, Managing Broker
Chris Boston is a founder and the managing broker of Boston Pace, Inc. and is very knowledgeable in commercial real estate and negotiations. Chris founded Boston Pace, Inc. with his brother Mike to develop a commercial real estate firm focused on the highest level of personal service, advice and getting the job done right. Previously, Chris was Vice President of Brokerage Services at Gibbons-White, Inc. where he was the top producing broker associate at the firm for 12 years out of the 15 years he was at the firm.
He has served as a Board of Director for a three-year term with the Denver Metro Commercial Association of Realtors (DMCAR)., the advisory board for the CoStar database and is a founding member and is currently serving on the advisory board for the Catylist database for the Boulder/Louisville/Broomfield/Lafayette/Longmont areas. He is a past Chairman of the Commercial Brokers of Boulder and past President of the Board of Directors of the Colorado Technology Center Owners Association and he has served on the Board of the Boulder Economic Council.
Chris grew up in Boulder, earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Colorado and his MBA from Colorado State University. He has also been awarded the CCIM designation. CCIMs are recognized experts in commercial real estate brokerage, leasing, asset management, valuation, and investment analysis.
Chris lives in Boulder with his wife Justine and their sons Richard and Jake. Having grown up in Boulder, he has witnessed the dramatic changes to our local real estate market over the years. He enjoys working, skiing, riding bikes, fly fishing, hiking, reading a good biography or history book, spending time in the mountains, and spending time with family.
Mike Boston, MBA
Raised in a family of seven kids in Boulder, Mike was persuaded by good friendships and family ties (and Winter Park ski weekends) to attend the University of Colorado where he received a BS in Accounting and an MBA in Finance. After a few years working as a CPA and contrary to the conventional wisdom that “the only ship that won’t sail is a partnership”, Mike enjoyed 22 years as one of three co-founding partners in a successful Denver-based wealth management firm. One of Mike’s primary responsibilities with the firm was leading the team that created and implemented the firm’s investment strategy.
When Mike and his partners merged their firm with a leading national firm, Mike took the opportunity to transition from the financial advisory arena to a complementary career in commercial real estate, where his analytical turn of mind, creativity and experience as a small business owner could be put to good use.
In addition to work, Mike enjoys playoff baseball, road trips to Berkshire Hathaway shareholder meetings with his brothers, a good book and a cup of coffee, and workouts with any of his five kids.
Broker Associate / Assistant
Kegan graduated from the University of Central Florida with his Bachelors of Science in Business Administration (B.S.B.A.) with a major in Accounting from the Kenneth G. Dixon School of Accounting. After graduating he moved to Big Sky, Montana to indulge freely in his passion for skiing before moving to Boulder to pursue a career in commercial real estate.
Kegan has worked with Chris previously as an intern where he helped Chris in a variety of activities such as marketing support, lease and building analysis, LOI and counterproposals preparation. During that internship, he became familiar with how Chris operates and will strive to continue his level of honesty, integrity and hard work. He is a highly motivated and dedicated individual, which shows in his strong work ethic and enthusiasm to learn. He enjoys backcountry and resort skiing, mountain biking, trail running, exploring Colorado with friends and is an avid car enthusiast.
Wendy is a property manager for Boston Pace, Inc. and currently manages over 270,000 Square Feet of commercial space. She strives to provide exceptional service to the property owners by maintaining their properties like they were her own and by providing comprehensive monthly reporting and keeping our landlords informed and up to date. Wendy also provides outstanding assistance to our tenants with timely returned calls, prompt maintenance repairs and friendly interactions. She enjoys getting to know her clients and tenants well and is truly focused on providing the highest level of service and responsiveness in the industry. She cares about how each property is maintained and makes sure that they are kept to high standards for the enjoyment of the tenants and their guests!
Wendy lives in Longmont with family nearby. When she is not working, she enjoys gardening, reading and spending time with her dog.
